The gameplay of the role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077, launched on the Android smartphone RED MAGIC 7S Pro, has appeared on the vastness of YouTube. To do this, an enthusiast under the nickname InfiniX used the Box64Droid emulator, which is designed to run 32-bit and 64-bit games and applications for Windows on Android.
The device is equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and 18 GB of RAM at once, but even such hardware is barely enough to provide performance of 5-6 frames per second in 720p resolution at the starting location in the desert. The author clarified that the clock frequencies of the CPU and GPU were forcibly increased to maximum values, and there was no thermal trolling.
The official account of the REDMAGIC brand on the social network "X" reacted to the video and stated that despite the fact that "it's not playable yet," they are insanely pleased to realize that a game of such a level as Cyberpunk 2077 can be launched on their phone. Yes, at the moment we are talking about only 5 FPS, but with the development of technology and improved optimization, this figure may well grow to the indicators of X-ray consoles.
