The seventh season of Dota 2 Champions League has been announced
The seventh season of the Champions League for the cult and well-known computer video game Dota 2 has been announced.

Tournament operator Epic Esports Events has announced the seventh season of the well-known online computer video game Dota 2 Champions League, which will be held from January 24 to February 17. The prize fund is unchanged — 50 thousand dollars. It will be divided between all sports teams.

Distribution of the prize fund:

  • 1st place — $20,000;
  • 2nd place - $10,000;
  • 3rd place — $7,000;
  • 4th place — $3,500;
  • 5th-6th place — $2,500 for each team;
  • 7-8 place — $1,000 for each team;
  • 9th-12th place — $500 for each team.

The previous format of the tournament will also remain. 14 teams will go through the group stage, those who scored more points will continue to compete in the playoffs, where they will be joined by four more invited teams. All matches will last up to two wins, and the grand final - up to three.

In the group stage of the seventh season will perform Virtus.pro , B8, Team Empire, Hydra, AS Monaco Gambit, Gambit Esports, Brame, Nemiga Gaming, Winstrike, V-Gaming, Entity, COOLGUYS, CIS Rejects and the winner of the open qualification. The dates of the qualifiers will be announced later.

The winner of D2CL Season 6 Team Tickles, the silver medalist of D2CL Season 6 Natus Vincere, PuckChamp and another team that will be named later received invitations to the knockout round immediately.
