The court banned Samsung from importing and selling more than 60 smartphone models in Russia
A Moscow court has banned Samsung from importing and selling certain lines of smartphone models in Russia.

61 phone models were hit, including the flexible Galaxy Z Flip and the flagship Galaxy S21.

This decision was made due to a patent dispute. A lawsuit against Samsung was filed by the Swiss Sqwin, which demanded to ban the use of the Samsung Pay payment service in the country. The document entitled "Electronic payment System", describing "a method for making an online payment using the buyer's mobile device and the seller's cash register system", from the author Viktor Gulchenko was registered in 2013.

The court's decision may be appealed by the defendant within a month if he does not file an appeal that the law will come into force.
