Head of Xbox Game Studios: Redfall from Arkane Austin's Looks Pretty Cool
The release of the cooperative game Redfall will take place only next summer, but already now the team first-person shooter in the vampire world is in a playable state.
At least the head of Xbox Game Studios, Matt Bootie, managed to evaluate the project and called it "pretty cool".
Speaking on the podcast Kinda Funny, he exchanged a few words with the hosts about the next Arkane Austin project, noting that it is taking shape.
"I think Redfall will be cool as I've seen the current build and it looks pretty cool."
Buti did not specify whether he played on his own or the developers showed him the gameplay. Earlier it was reported that Redfall has been in development for four years, and although only one trailer was shown, it can be assumed that the process is progressing according to plan.
Bootie also pointed out one of the personal advantages of Microsoft's partnership with Zenimax and Bethesda — the opportunity to communicate with the creative director of Dishonored, Prey and Redfall Harvey Smith.
Redfall will be released on PC and Xbox Series X/S. Players in the role of a small group of survivors will have to fight a legion of vampires who have captured the island city of Redfall. The project will be available from the first day in the Xbox Game Pass service.
