Now Destination Home has only an offline version available for download and launch on modified versions of PlayStation 3 or emulator, however, after cooperation with the PlayStation Online Network Emulated (PSONE) fan group, the authors of Destination Home managed to connect the game to the network again.

The developers have published a trailer in which they showed gatherings of live players in Destination Home. It is planned to launch the resurrected PS Home online by the end of this year with access to public and private lobbies.

PlayStation Home was launched at the end of 2008 and was a social gaming center where PS3 owners could create a digital avatar for themselves and interact with other players, equip their own apartments, visit various thematic areas and play mini-games. The platform never got out of the beta stage and was closed in March 2015.

Previously, PSONE forces were revived online in MotorStorm, Killzone 2 and a number of other PS3 exclusives, whose servers were closed long ago. As for PS Home, Sony has not officially announced plans to revive the platform, but continues to regularly renew the rights to the trademark.
