Attack on Sackboy: Hackers broke into the servers of LittleBigPlanet, Sony went to extreme measures to solve the problem.

"Due to the severity of the recent attacks, we have no choice but to temporarily disable the game servers," SONY developers said on social media.

Apparently, we are talking about offensive messages that attackers sent to players through in-game notifications. The authors noted that they are not going to leave what happened without attention, especially when the situation concerns the affected community members.

At the end of April, Eurogamer drew attention to a problem with interruptions in the operation of LittleBigPlanet servers, which caused users to experience difficulties accessing network functions in the games of the series from about the beginning of March. Community members blamed a DDOS attack allegedly staged by one of the disgruntled players, but the company did not openly admit this, saying only that it was dealing with the problem.

On Friday, May 21, the developers reported that some members of the community are still experiencing problems with the servers, and confirmed that new attacks are already being investigated.
