But at the same time, the story touched on his only game so far.

Barone has no plans for the development of Stardew Valley, although he does not think that the game is completely finished. Nevertheless, it is in excellent condition, and although the possibility of improvement always exists, he does not think that Stardew Valley needs additions and updates.

As for Haunted Chocolatier, the future project has a lot in common with Stardew Valley, right down to the programming language used and the "slow start": in such projects, everything develops into an exciting gameplay only when the player begins to see the big picture.

Haunted Chocolatier was born out of the usual coding experiments: Barone, for the sake of entertainment, made a prototype of a game consisting of a single room. The hero could run on it, brandishing a sword, and fight monsters. But in the process, he had ideas, and gradually the game began to develop.

As we already know, the combat system will be different from the one we already know, since both are based on the traditions of two-dimensional role-playing games. But, in addition to simplicity, depth and intuitive clarity, they are distinguished by new functions and features. In Haunted Chocolatier, in particular, there will be a shield with a protection system.

So far, there is no news about when the release of Haunted Chocolatier may take place.
