A new patch is on way: CDPR has updated Cyberpunk 2077 build on Steam for the first time in several months
Cyberpunk 2077 implements the next update, as it is supposed to be patch 1.5, coming out together with the versions of the game for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Cyberpunk 2077 is starting to take steps towards its next update, which is supposed to be patch 1.5, coming out along with the next generation versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/Series.
Observant users noticed that the other day (for the first time since October 28), developers uploaded a new build of the game to Steam, but it is non-public, so its content, corrections and other details remain unknown.
In theory, this could be new game content, features, bug fixes, and so on, which should accompany patch 1.5 for Cyberpunk 2077. At the same time, it is possible that before a major update CD Projekt RED will release a smaller prepatch in the coming days or weeks, but this is still at the level of guesswork.
The studio itself has previously stated that it plans to release the next generation version of Cyberpunk 2077 in the first quarter of this year, along with another major update for all platforms.
The last public patch for Cyberpunk was published in mid-September under the number 1.31. Among other changes, the update has significantly improved the reflective surfaces.
