It looks like Starfield from the creators of Skyrim and Fallout 4 for Xbox Series X|S and PC has been in development since January 2016
One of the visitors to the Reddit forum found a mention of the beginning of Starfield development on LinkedIn.
Bethesda Softworks employee Lucas Hardy wrote on his social network page for finding and establishing business contacts that he started working on a Microsoft exclusive in January 2016.
It is worth noting that Hardy holds the post of lead artist and has long been a member of the team of key developers. He also worked on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4. It is likely that after the release of the latter in 2015, he started developing Starfield.
Hardy owns a personal website with a portfolio where, among other things, you can find several art and 3D models for a new game.
Starfield will be released on November 11 on Xbox Series X|S and PC. A big presentation of the game is planned for the summer, where the publisher will show the gameplay and share the main details.
