Shipments of gaming graphics cards around the world will increase by the second half of this year — the shortage of graphics accelerators will temporarily decrease. This forecast was shared by NVIDIA Senior CFO Colette Kress during her speech at the NGC 2022 conference.

"The sales lines remain quite flexible, while we continue to negotiate with our partners in the manufacturing industries in the hope of increasing the supply (of video cards). Now we are optimistic about the second half of the current calendar year," explained Colette Kress.

It is noteworthy that Kress's positive forecast regarding the supply of graphics accelerators may also converge with the estimated timing of the start of sales of new GeForce 40 series graphics cards - experts expect their launch in the fall of 2022.
