Graphically and technically, both versions are identical to each other, while in performance in most modes, we are talking more about the minimum advantages of a particular system. Several performance modes were compared with and without ray tracing. It makes no sense to talk separately about each mode, since the picture is the same almost everywhere. The Xbox has a slight advantage over the PS5, while in other modes it is the console from Sony that takes the lead, and the Xbox shows itself strangely, since the difference in frame rates can sometimes be several times.

Digital Foundry notes that the development of games for the PS5 has remained the same with the PS4 and is not difficult, while the developers of games for the Xbox Series have to learn new tools and everything new in relation to the Xbox One. Regarding DMC 5, it is believed that the game developers have not put in particularly much effort to optimization. Digital Foundry believes the difference in performance between consoles should be greater given the more powerful hardware on the Xbox.
