Demon's Souls - not only graphics and sound - developers of the remake of the game told what else they improved in the game for PlayStation 5
Remake of Demon's Souls for the PlayStation 5 is technically not a completely new game, but it has been completely redesigned with new graphics and sound, using the capabilities of the next-generation console.
In addition, other changes were also implemented during the Demon's Souls update. In a recently published interview with GameSpot, the project's creative Director, Gavin Moore, said that one of the things fans will have to appreciate is a significantly improved character editor that offers thousands of new combinations when creating your own character.
"What we did was update the character editor, adding thousands and thousands of new [customization] options that you can play with and create with."
Almost the same philosophy was applied to improve the sound. Moore confirmed that the remake of Demon's Souls will include "thousands and thousands" of completely new sound effects that should make the sound more diverse, especially when combined with Tempest 3D AudioTech technology.
Using 3D-audio-compatible headphones, players can literally feel arrows flying past their heads, Imperial spies sneaking up on them in The boletarii Palace, or creatures crawling out of the slime in The Fel valley.
A remake of Demon's Souls will be available on the PlayStation 5 launch day.
