S. T. A. L. K. E. R. 2 will not be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
The hotly anticipated S. T. A. L. K. E. R. 2 project will not be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. This was announced in correspondence with subscribers in the social network "Vkontakte" by PR Manager of the Studio GSC Game World Zakhar Bocharov.
Answering a question about the possibility of repeating the mistakes of the creators of the role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077, which suffers from an abundance of technical problems on the systems of the last generation, Bocharov stressed that this will not happen, since the versions of the second "Stalker" for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One do not exist in nature.
In the summer 2020, it became known that S. T. A. L. K. E. R. 2 will be released not only on the PC, but also on the Xbox Series X/S, becoming a temporary Microsoft console exclusive. Moreover, the project will immediately get into the catalog of the subscription service Xbox Game Pass.
