For fans of Matrix and Max Payne, note: authors of Hong Kong Massacre showed gameplay of a new shooter with shooting in slow motion and destruction
Swedish indie studio Veresk, known for the dynamic action movie with a top view of The Hong Kong Massacre, showed fresh footage of the prototype of its new unnamed shooter.
Cutting the gameplay shows what you can expect from the game: a first-person view, a large amount of slow-motion shooting in the style of Max Payne and the Matrix, partially destructible environment and a gloomy, down-to-earth setting. Judging by the videos, it will be possible to destroy a lot of things in the shooter, starting with flower pots and chairs and ending with cars.
The game is based on the Unreal Engine 4 engine by only two people and was first introduced in February of this year. It is not yet known when and on which platforms to expect a release.
The Hong Kong Massacre was the studio's debut and was released in 2019 on PlayStation 4 and PC. In December 2020, a port for the Nintendo Switch appeared.
