Jason Schreier: Starfield will get a specific release date at E3 2021
A few days ago, Bloomberg editor Jason Schreier commented on the frequent rumors around the expected Starfield game.
He said that Bethesda will show and date the game in June at E3 2021, but the release will take place much later than many expect.
A little later, in the correspondence under the tweet, the journalist gave more accurate information. He added that the company is not just going to name the release window-players will get a specific date.
"I only report this because there have been a huge number of fake rumors that cause people to panic," Schreier said.
Earlier, some insiders were inclined to believe that Starfield could be released either this fall or in early 2022, but Schreier asked players not to overestimate their expectations. According to him, Bethesda expects to release the game only by the end of next year.
Also, the situation with the platforms remains unclear until the end. Perhaps the game will become an Xbox console exclusive and will not appear on the PlayStation, but so far this is only a rumor.
