Microsoft Flight Simulator has received an update with improved details for UK and Ireland
Asobo Studio periodically releases updates that improve the rendering of different regions. In 2020, attention was paid to Japan and the United States, and today an update has been released for the UK and Ireland.

World Update III: UK & Ireland includes high quality 3D photogrammetry from Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, London and Oxford, five new meticulously hand-crafted airports (Barra, Liverpool, Land's End, Manchester-Barton and Out Skerries).
The developers also introduced visual and logistical improvements to 85 regional airports and improved digital elevation information across the United Kingdom.
In addition, Asobo Studio has graced Britain with architectural elements, from estates and Victorian homes to rustic stone structures, castles, churches and even restaurants. More than 70 cultural landmarks add detail and realism to bridges, palaces, cathedrals and football stadiums.
Finally, World Update III contains three new events: an Iconic Flight in the Northern Isles and two diverse Landing Challenges: on the Shetland archipelago and over Southeast England.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is available on Microsoft Store (including Xbox Game Pass) and Steam. The Xbox Series version is coming this summer.
