System Shock remake pre-orders will be available at the end of February
Nightdive Studios posted a January announcement in which they revealed some news about the release of the System Shock remake.
At the end of February, the pre-orders for the PC version of the game will open on Steam, GOG and EGS.
A final demo will also be released. It will have a medical bay level, a cyberspace level, a complete dismemberment system, re-recorded lines and additional features.
Those who pre-order System Shock or donate $ 30 will receive the free System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition. These editions are supposed to be released at the same time.
Work on the remake of System Shock has been going on since 2015. The project successfully passed Kickstarter, received a demo and changed the engine.
In the new edition, the game will be completely transferred to the KEX Engine from Nightdive using the source code, all models of characters and weapons will be redone, and also include favorite mods:

- ACC's Four Hundred (400) Hi-res Terrain Textures
- Eldron's Psi Amp
- Olfred's Fixed Objects
- Grosnus' Hi-Res Spinning Marine, Navy, OSA logos

- Vaxquis Vintage Song Remake v1.0 Mod
- Mercurius' Tacticool Weapon Replacements
System Shock remake should also be released on Xbox and PS, but there is no exact release date.
