Ksenia Sereda will be the cameraman for the pilot episode of the TV adaptation of The Last of Us
Operator of the pilot episode of the TV adaptation of The Last of Us will be Ksenia Sereda. The Last of Us operator will work again with Kantemir Balagov.
Previously, the management of the streaming service HBO chose Kantemir Balagov as the director of the first episode of the upcoming film adaptation of The Last of Us, which was the first good news for Russian cinema in the new year. Now it is reported that cameraman Ksenia Sereda, who previously worked with Balagov on the film “Dylda,” which won the Best Director prize at the Cannes Film Festival, will join the crew of the series. She also shot the show “Call DiCaprio,” the paintings “Acid” and “Chernobyl” by Danila Kozlovsky.

Ksenia Sereda was invited to the project by showrunner Craig Maisin, who told the Scriptnotes podcast that Ksenia will almost certainly join the crew, but there is no final decision yet.
“I'm 99% sure we'll bring in a cameraman that Cantemir worked with. She's great too, her name is Ksenia Sereda. “Dylda” is an amazing, touching, magnificent film.”
