Lucasfilm secretly shoots "Mandalorian" spin-off about Boba Fett - Deadline
Last week, the premiere of the second season of the series "The Mandalorian" (the Mandalorian), which is exclusive to Disney+. And the first episode confirmed a number of leaks, as well as generated a new wave of rumors.

However, Deadline claims that Lucasfilm does not intend to limit itself to a small appearance of Boba Fett. According to preliminary data, until the end of November 2020, the shooting of a mini-series about the legendary mercenary will start in secrecy.
Initially, it was said that the shooting of the third season of "Mandalorian"should begin in November. However, a number of sources say that they will start only in the spring of 2021.
There is also another rumor that the third and fourth seasons of "Mandalorian" will be filmed simultaneously. This is supposed to facilitate production in the face of a pandemic
The existence of a spin-off about Boba Fett looks quite funny, because the main character of "Mandalorian" was originally Boba Fett. The project begins with George Lucas, who planned to release the series Star Wars: Underworld and the game Star Wars: 1313.
Already at Disney, Director Josh Trank offered the new head of Lucasfilm to make a film about a bounty hunter. But after the failure of "Fantastic four", the project again fell into production hell, from which it was pulled by Director Jon Favreau.
