The series "WandaVision" leaves 2020 without Marvel Studios projects - the show starts in January 2021
Disney has announced a release date for TV series "Wandavision". Initially, it was expected that first series of viewers will see in December, but the show starts a little later, on January 15, and thus this year becomes the first since 2010, when Marvel Studios will not release any of its projects.
The series is a mix of a sitcom and an adventure story in the Marvel cinematic universe. The main characters will be Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany), who live their ideal family life in a quiet American town, but over time, the couple begins to realize that everything is really far from what they think.
Initially, "WandaVision" was supposed to be the second after "Falcon and the Winter soldier" series of the Marvel cinematic universe on Disney+, but the coronavirus pandemic made its own adjustments to the Studio's plans. After several filming breaks, the adventures of Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes are still in production and will be released later in 2021.
At the same time, Marvel is also working on a lot of other KVM shows, including "Loki", "Miss Marvel", "Hulk Woman" and "Moon knight". And these are only officially announced.
