CD Projekt publicly said that it would not pay any ransom.

Hackers have already released the source code of Gwent to the public. However, the forums where the Gwent archive appears are trying to suppress the massive distribution of these files.

Meanwhile, the source code of Gwent, The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077, as well as dumps of internal documents, were up for auction. The initial bid is $ 1,000,000. The minimum increment is $ 500,000. If someone offers $ 7,000,000, the lot will be sold to him immediately.

CD Projekt did not announce additional measures against hackers and only advised former employees to be more careful and include warnings about fraudulent activities. The company has already contacted law enforcement agencies and called for help from IT security specialists.

According to the latest data, the auction has ended. The attackers received an offer that completely satisfied them.
