Ubisoft is developing a remake of Splinter Cell
Ubisoft publishing house has officially announced that a remake of the original Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell game has been launched.
Ubisoft shared the details in a press release.
Ubisoft Toronto studio (Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Far Cry 6) is responsible for the project. The remake will be based on the Snowdrop Engine graphics engine created by Ubisoft Massive (The Division) studio.
While Splinter Cell is at an early stage of development, however, the developers promise to leave the spirit of the original intact. At the same time, they could not answer the question of which elements of the gameplay or levels will undergo changes. At the same time, the studio promises not to do an open world.
