Elven Ring from FromSoftware received a preliminary rating - news on the game is coming soon?
Netizens noticed that the recently anticipated role-playing action Elven Ring studio FromSoftware received a preliminary age rating. Information about this is available on the Asian version of the Bandai Namco website.
The game is rated "16+" by the PEGI classification, the same as Bloodborne, the Dark Souls trilogy, and the original Demon's Souls.
A preliminary rating is an approximate rating that is assigned by the publisher based on its own judgment about the content of the game. The PEGI commission has not yet reviewed the game officially, which means that it will still have to go through this process later. At the same time, the fact that any preliminary rating was applied to Elden Ring by Bandai Namco may be a sign that the company is preparing to soon show new materials on the game, for example, the trailer, for which preliminary ratings are often used.
Elven Ring was announced at E3 2019 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but since then, the developers have said almost nothing about the project. At the end of January, journalist and insider Jeff Grubb hinted that the latest news on the game may appear in the near future.
