Netflix to release second season of “Lupin”
Streaming service Netflix announced that the series “Lupin” has been extended for a second season. The premiere should take place in the summer. There will be five episodes, directed by Ludovic Bernard.

The series is a kind of reinterpretation of the history of the gentleman burglar. At the auction in the Louvre is Marie Antoinette's necklace. It was in its theft 25 years ago that Assan Diop's father was unjustly accused. Assane decides to take revenge and actually steal it. He is inspired by his favorite book character, Arsène Lupin.
The “Lupin” series has surpassed such Netflix projects as “The Queen's Gambit” and the fourth season of “Paper House” in popularity. In its first month alone, it was watched by users with 70 million accounts.
The main role was played by Omar Sy, known from the movie “1+1”.
