The creators of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 released a video for the birthday of the GSC Game World studio
The developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl have released a new video dedicated to the 26th anniversary of the founding of GSC Game World.
The video shows a wall with surveillance monitors on which fragments from the games of the Ukrainian studio released over 26 years of activity are reproduced, including the series "Cossacks" and S.T.A.L.K.E.R., as well as lesser-known projects of the early years of activity, such as the Hover Ace race and the FireStarter shooter.
On the occasion of the birthday, the developers also published an appeal on social networks with gratitude to the fans and everyone who helped create the history of the studio. The authors noted that a new chapter awaits them ahead.
"Today is the birthday of GSC Game World. We celebrate and thank everyone who has ever seen our logo on a computer screen, phone or TV. Everyone who is involved in our common history, supports, creates modifications, plays or waits for the moment to return to the game. There is a new chapter ahead, which we will write together with you. As always!".
Currently, GSC Game World is preparing a sequel to Stalker, scheduled for release on April 28, 2022 for Xbox Series X|S and PC. Also, a new unannounced game is already in development.
