Silent Hill - former editor of GameInformer: rumors about the relaunch of the game for the PlayStation 5 are true
Former editor of GameInformer Imran Khan shared his opinion on the rumors about the new part of Silent Hill in the latest edition of the podcast Kinda Funny Games.
According to Imran, the information distributed by insiders Dusk Golem and Katharsis regarding the return of the cult horror franchise Konami, is reliable. According to Imran, people involved in the series are now really working on an undisclosed project, but he is not completely sure that this game will be called Silent Hill.
Previously, the journalist did not make mistakes in many statements, his predictions about most events always came true, including he also predicted the remake of Demon's Souls as the starting title of PS5 and the new game Rocksteady about "Suicide Squad".
"I think these rumors can be trusted and I know that the people involved in Silent Hill are really working on something right now. But I'm not sure it will be Silent Hill, " Imran Khan said.
The new Silent Hill is rumored to be a soft relaunch of the series and is being created by franchise authors Keiichiro Toyama and Masahiro Ito at SIE Japan Studio. The music is written by Akira Yamaoka. The project is supposedly in development for about two years and should be released in 2021 or early 2022 exclusively on the PlayStation 5.
